I am so sorry Gem did not make it home, this is tragic.  Well done to the owners for thinking of others in these unfortunate circumstances to get something done about the safety of the water.  Run free dear Gem.x.

I have just taken a call back from Gems owners - I am very sad to have to move Gem over to rainbow bridge - she was found about 1/2 mile from owners home and she had drowned at water treatment center. Gems owners were so upset and outraged that this area was not fenced off that they fought the powers that be and now it has been safely enclosed  as they say it could easily have been a child. I am so sorry that Gem did not make it home but her life and untimely death may just have save others. Run free at the bridge sweet Gem x

there is a young looking springer on carmathenshire county council web site under dogwarden section impounded dogs id no Gel-039054 CCC756, cant see the dogs back so maybe it is pure white but poss worth a look.
