- Wonderful news. Elated for her family. I would keep her in for at least a week or she may go awol again. Assume got lost, and disorientated? Welcome home Maggie,. Not a good idea to let cats out after dark. It`s a fallacy that cats cats can see in total darkness (Was told this by professional) Thewy can`t see any better than us.
