I've forwarded umpteen pix of "our" dog to Jess's mum but we don't think it's her - ours has dewclaws as well as other differences :(

Wonder who the  rescue was? The only one I know is TIA, we have a network of rescues that take dogs out of the pounds & put into rescue once there 7 days are up. Most other Co-ordinators on here 5canine know of my involvement at CF, I agree NO dog has ever been pts for lack of space Will wait for pics then xpost onto relevant forums that may be missing the dog.

Will send pix to Jayne to add on asap. This bitch turned up on finder's doorstep on Bradford and he was told by a local  rescue NOT to notify the dog warden as she'd be pts. So she's spent 3 weeks with this chap before anyone's been told she's been found.  It's only that his staffies hate her that has forced him to contact us and I am now holding her safe at Lurcher Link.

I cannot believe that a RESCUE would make a comment like that, at Dunroamin-k9rescue, we have our dogs in boarding kennels at Carlton Forest in Worksop, Notts, who also have the local council contact to take in the strays.  The strays are kept in a seperate area to the boarding dogs, but in all the time I have been involved with these kennels, not once has a dog been put to sleep due to lack of space, the only time a dog has been put to sleep here is when they have been too poorly to stay, and that hasn't been through lack of trying to save them`
