Spoken to previous owner's partner, great news this girl has turned up back home on her own, everyone is over the moon to get her back.  Welcome home girl and so pleased you are now reunited and going into the blue.  Previous owner would like to pass their thanks to DL.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

If you speak to the friend again can they confirm the exact location of whereabouts she went missing from because as far as I know Crumpsall is quite built up ... however, I only have a basic knowledge of the area. I'll be happy to go searching on Sunday morning/afternoon xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Had a long chat with friend of owner, who originally owned this Goldie and is from the Liverpool area.  This dog is very very nervous of people, owner does not have internet access.  Given advice to friend who is going to try and get a photo a.s.a.p. and check if the Chip Co have been informed.  She has been reported to the local DW who have contacted owner with two sightings in the area (friend is checking exactly whereabout).   It is on open land, so at least she is safe away from traffic.  Vets have also been informed and Manchester Dogs Home visited.  Have advised they also check Leigh Cats & Dogs Home.  Will send further information to friend with SCENTING instructions.  Have talked about what to do if they see her etc.  Owner has been going out with their other dogs.   Jaspbenswood it is in the Crumpsall, Manchester area that she has gone missing, this is where her owner lives.  Will get the usual posters ready for when we receive a photo or use a similar one.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Will try and contact owner a.s.a.p.  The contact number is not Manchester, so she may have been lost away from the area she lives.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Owner, sorry to see your girl is missing.  Thanks for registering her details on DL, we will do all we can to help you in your search.  Can you email photo/s a.s.a.p. to admin@doglost.co.uk.  You need to poster poster poster the area as much as possible, we cannot stress enough the importance of the postering.  Posters can be printed by selecting Dog Poster 1 just above Dog Information (you must be registered and logged in).    Contact DW's, rescues, vets and leave a poster (you can find vets in the area by clicking on the logo right hand side just underneath Latest Missing photo).  Dogs can be rehomed after 7 days, try and visit rescues do not rely on phone calls alone.  Great she is Chipped you must contact the Chip Co and report her missing and check your details are up to date. Please update us on who has been contacted i.e. DW's etc and if you have started postering.  You can leave a comment by selecting  Add a comment  just above Comments.  Good luck and hope she is found soon.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
