Thanks for all of you help!!!!!! The postering campagn was a complete success.  Apparently Chico managed to escape and was taken in by a lady a couple of miles away.  A friend of hers seen one of the posters and contacted us.  They were so glad that they had found the rightful owner, they would in no way accept any reward.  Thanks again for your advice and a special thankyou for the kind animal lover who has been caring for Chico this last weekLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Theresa, sorry to see Chico is missing.  Thanks for registering him details on DL, we will do all we can to help you in your search.   You need to poster poster poster the area as much as possible and make him TOO HOT TO HANDLE, we cannot stress enough the importance of the postering.  Posters can be printed by selecting Dog Poster 1 just above Dog Information (you must be logged in).    Contact DW's, rescues, vets and leave a poster (you can find vets in the area by clicking on the logo right hand side just underneath Latest Missing photo).  Dogs can be rehomed after 7 days, try and visit rescues do not rely on phone calls alone.  Great he is Chipped, you need to contact the Chip Co and report him Stolen and check your details are up to date.   Try and get some media coverage, Liverpool Echo and local free papers.  Please update us on who has been contacted i.e. DW's etc and if you have started postering.  You can leave a comment by selecting  Add a comment  just above Comments.  Good luck and hope he is found soon.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Spoken to owner, they are doing the right things.  They cannot be 100% certain he has been stolen as someone could have let him out.  Posters have been getting displayed, DW notified and have checked in Halewood RSPCA.  Chip Co have been contacted,  Gave further advice but will also send some information and various size posters.  Jan x Chico has to be fed a special diet and will not eat ordinary dog food. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
