Thanks SallyD. Also cats can smell from quit a distance away, so try putting his UNWASHED blanket on the clothes line. If a cat is usually a "Homebound cat" and out of character for it no to return, it`s either trapped in some outbuilding, or someone is feeding it. There has been cats posted as missing on here for months, only to find they aren`t far from home, but just being fed by others. One cat posted as missing was only ten minutes away from his own home; was found by the owner`s brother. A woman has been feeding him fresh chicken every day. And when checking outbuildings, do several checks, and cats can stay very still, and quiet when trapped. AS MAGIC CAT not microchipped., he may have been handed in to a pet rescue thinking he`s a stray. So check rescue centres too.
