So very pleased to see Flossie is now safe again.  Well done to the fosterer who caught her. All excellent news.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Flossie - you are beautiful.  Pleased you allowed your foster-carer to "capture" you.  Stay safe now, and be happy and enjoy your new life.  Love and hugs to you X.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Flossie made a brief appearance in the new owners garage last night where her bed has been placed, unfortunately she was spooked and ran away. Her foster carers have put loads of scent in garage and made it very cosy so hope she comes back tonight............Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I have contacted as many people as I know in the local area to keep a look out.  I can do the night shift if you need help.  Just phone me and I will get there in about twenty minutes.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I have crossposted the link to several email groups I am on .. hopefully that will mean more people on the look out - I have all fingers crossed that Flossie is found safe and well very soon indeed.   Stay safe.  I have also posted details on our Valgrays website: http://valgraysbcrescue.webs.com/hotnews.htm Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Sorry Flossie has gone missing. She feels insecure, and has gone off in search of her foster carers. Please inform dog wardens in the area. Telephone number can be obtained from council website, also police, rescue centres and vets in the area in case she is picked up by someone and handed in. The best thing to do is lay scent belonging to the foster carers in the area she has gone missing from, as most dogs will circle around, trying to pick up on a scent they recognise. Use foster carers clothing, pillow slips, dog bedding, hoover bag contents - anything she will associate with. Lay these things in the area with some food and make a nice nest for her to make a bed in, somewhere safe and secluded. You aim to keep her in this area. Place posters everywhere you can as quickly as possible in order that you will get your sightings coming in tomorrow. You may need hundreds, both in area of loss, and further away. Also hand them out to dog walkers in the area, postmen, bin men school children, etc etc - you get the idea. The more eyes looking out for her the better. Good luck now. Oh, and make sure you put postrs up in all local pubs and pub car parks. Very distinctive and beautiful dog. Hope she is home very soon. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Flossie was rescued from Greece in October and has been staying with foster carers until today when she was taken to stay with potential new owners. Flossie escaped through the door when a visitor called at about 7:00 pm she does not know the area or her new owners. Her foster carers are on their way to help look for her. If anyone can help it would be very much appreciated. The rescue does not have anyone in this area.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
