Moved to UNKNOWN following request to remove by owner after two out of 4 pups reunited and post had been updated to REUNITED.

From owner via Messenger:

"I have removed the lost post, because two of the four puppies have been returned and I no longer feel we will get the other two . I am getting too much mail from far reaches, although I have listed that these puppies will be with in the Glasgow area. So time to remove post. Thank you"

I offered to amend to UNKNOWN to which owner responded:

"no just remove please"

I responded

"I will advise HQ as I do not have the necessary authority to remove. I will move to UNKOWN in the interim".

I have again asked owner for clarification on the two outstanding puppies and await response before reverting back to Lost status.
Have also advised contacting DogLost Police Liaison at stolen@doglost.co.uk

POLICE are saying that because the thief deleted both his advert and his account, Gumtree have no record to refer to......

As the thief had to pay a nominal fee, using either credit card, debit card or PayPal, to allow an ad for puppies for sale, how is it the POLICE nor GUMTREE can trace this.?

'STOLEN brother and sisters, were advertised on Gumtree between April10th and April 16th. Believed to be in the LARKHALL area, Scotland.
The thieves asked in excess of £2,000/puppy.
They told buyers , due to covid they would deliver puppies, or met them somewhere...
The man drove a white, small Citroen van.
Puppies travelled on front seat
People who purchased a puppy from the thief were given some dog food, and dog treats.
The thief asked for the new owners address, so he could send papers on to them.
Thief put glittery collars on the puppies.

Does this ring any bells?

Yes, Joan, the latest post from Saturday evening does suggest two pups are still missing, doesn't it?
"both puppies that were returned to us are very settled in their new homes"

Hopefully the breeder can clarify?

Owners FB page appears to suggest that 2 pups found, reunited and now in their new homes, but 2 pups still missing.......joanx

UPDATE...MISSING PUPPIES 20/4/2021.

Two bitch puppies have been returned to us. Safe and sound. Found by information received .

Thank you everybody. Please keep looking. Dog and bitch still missing.

Note the collars....not ours, I do not use collars.
