Brilliant News, well done that lady, you have made one family very happy with your actions today. Once again stresses the importance of postering the area.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Brilliant news. And a HUGE thank you to the wonderful lady travelling on the bus - what good timing! How observant of her to notice the likeness with the posters. I hope that this lady's kindness is rewarded in the future and I wish her a very happy, healthy and prosperous (not easy at the moment!) 2009. Welcome home handsome Paddy!

I have just spoken to owner who got Paddy back about 15 minutes ago.  Heres the story.  A woman travelling on a bus from Peacehaven to Seaford saw a homeless chap walking along with a dog who looked like Paddy.  She had seen a poster in Peacehaven.  She got off the bus and approached the chap, who was a little worse for wear, and started a conversation about the dog. He let slip (!!!!!) that he had stolen the dog. She took some photos via her phone and then phoned the owner, who rushed to Seaford.  On arrival the owner called Paddy who tried to run to her, she informed the guy that he had her dog and he gave it back without any fight.  The dog is a little thinner but seems absolutely fine.  The owner said that since Paddy went missing she has found out a few have also been stolen in similar circumstances.  Maybe time to get the supermarkets to display notices warning people Good news all round thoughLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
