How very, very sad, poor Paddy PTS because of a broken leg and probably also because it happened to be Christmas. Shocking, quite unbelievable and terribly sad. My thoughts are with his owners. Rest in peace beautiful Paddy - sweet dreams boy... x

I am so sorry to hear of your sad news my thoughts are with the family at the terrible time. I hope you get the full story soon. xXx By the edge of a wood at the foot of a hill,  Is a lush green meadow where time stands still !   Where friends of a man and woman do run when their time on earth is over and down,  for here and between this world and the next is a place where each beloved creature finds rest.  On this golden land they wait and play till rainbow bridge they cross over one day !  No more do they suffer in pain or saddness for here they are whole their lives filled with gladdness, Their limbs are restored their health renewed their bodies have healed strength imbuled! They run through the grass without even a care , , untill one day they stop and sniff the air. All ears pricked forward eyes dart side to side and then all of a sudden one breaks from the pack... For just that instant their eyes have met together again person and pet, so they run to each other this friends from long past their time of their parting is over at last,  The sadness they felt whilst apart has turned into joy once more in each heart, they embrace with a love that will last forever And side by side they cross over together x safe forever x so sad x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

My sympathies to Paddy's family. What a terrible way to start the year. I hope you do get to the bottom of it.  A broken leg is no reason to put a dog to sleep, particularly not such a young dog.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
