- The power of community! Thank you all so very much. Kumquat is now safely at home with nothing but a small limp to show for his adventure. The vet checked him over and says he is fine. He is appreciating the warm and the dry, the food and the drink...by sleeping. Don't blame him! He covered a lot of miles and crossed a lot of roads, so THANK YOU to everyone who tried to help him along the way and joined the messages and the searching. We look forward to repaying the favours the next time we see a lost dog notice in our area. Thanks all! xx

- Thank you everyone who got involved tracking Kumquat steps... without you all..it wouldn't be possible to find his whereabouts..
To Kate and family...plus the dog walker, it was a great pleasure meeting you all at the village this morning...also a great pleasure to stroke the ever so famous .. Kumquat, you did really well and you got a survival instinct as Abdul said last night on nextdoor ( he spotted you and you just bolted away)..be good little boy . Enjoy your time with your lovely family...best wishes...
Like what I heard from the Dog walker as I was leaving..

- WE'VE FOUND HIM! Running around Wimbledon Village. He then took shelter from the snow in a car port, the house owners returned and phoned me. 2 days after he fled Wandsworth. We feel very lucky. Thanks to everyone for their help, messages and searching! Xx

- thank you for your very kind offer to help. Today we had a couple of possible leads in the Wimbledon Common / Putney Vale Cemetery area so we think that would be a good place to look tomorrow. Thanks again x

- I’ve been in touch with the lovely @dogsoftooting on twitter who has been on the ground supporting owner, and have emailed 15 local vets and dog walkers with details and the poster for Kumquat. Sorry cannot offer more help as not local but will keep sharing on twitter/instagram and hope you will get a sighting soon x

- No sightings today.Thank you, the dogfinder. Home is Streatham Hill but he wouldnt know the route. He ran from the alley that connects Balham Park Road to the start of Wandsworth Common (near the train station). He was seen yesterday evening near Wimbledon Park and the streets between Melrose Ave and Durnsford Rd, and near Elborough and Trentham. We've informed dog wardens. Thank you!

- shared on twitter & instagram . I was wondering, from the pub in Wimbledon where he was sighted, and also from Wandsworth (where he was lost), which way is home? Would he possibly be familiar with any route? I can tailor posts to tag specific areas if you have a triangle drawn between these points. Good luck this morning - assume you’ve phoned dog warden & out of hours dog warden? Last edited: 2021-01-23 08:47:16 by thedogfinder
