It is with great sadness that I post to inform all of my friends and the wider Facebook community that unfortunately Smudge has been found this afternoon deceased in our nearby pond. It appears that he had fallen through the ice and drowned by accident and this was not visible to ourselves with the recent heavy snow ❄️ coverage in Meir Heath until melting has started today when we previously searched for him. I wish to thank everybody for the help in our search for Smudge and your comments that are much appreciated at this sad time. RIP Smudge 💔
