How sad that Peanut has gone to the bridge. but has already been said she was with people who cared, which is more than can be said for the so called owner. Nightie, night, pretty Peanut, sleep tight, and have fun at the bridge with the other "Rainbow babies" who are waiting to play RIP+ God Bless x A~~~Candle~~~burns for you. Run free (HUG) X

heartbreaking.. I had almost 100 shares from my group and she was not claimed. Thank you to all the staff at the rescue who took care of her and were with her as she crossed :(

Babbington now has a new public group where there are several updates on Peanut as she has been called by them.Just so grateful the fab finder got her safe and Babbington took over her care which sadly is now palliative.

So very kind of you to look after this poor little mite. At least she will go in peace and free from pain.

Thank you for update on this very sad situation. But good to know that she has got a home, and is being looked after, and on pain relief, until her time comes. Have you given her a name? Presume abandoned by so called owner? I don`t think any vet worth his/her salt would have turned this dog away. Sending her lots of love, and gentle ((((((HUGS)))) xxxxx Keep us posted xLast edited: 2020-12-31 12:32:23

Update copied

"""Unfortunately it is very bad news, she has a bone mass which has destroyed her sternum and is invading her lungs with several secondary masses in her lungs. She is untreatable no matter what money anyone had, her bones are being destroyed by the mass so there is nothing to work with. The secondaries in the lungs explain her high respiratory rate and wanting to sleep with her head up rested on something. It’s pushing at her heart also as you can see in X-ray.
We haven’t looked at other organs for more spreads as there is no point putting her through procedures when nothing can help her.
The vets have allowed her to come home with me but they believe she only has days left, she is on pain relief.
I have got to know her very well over the past 8 days so I will monitor her and as soon as she seems not her self or her respiratory rate goes too high then I will call it a day and stay with her at the vets while we let her go.
As you can see the top X-ray is hers with her mass and sternum destroyed and lungs covered as circled in second and the bottom is a X-ray of a healthy dog with organs shown.
Thank you for all that has tried to help her and I will make sure she has a good few last days.

Such a shame. Hope she wasn`t dumped. And can be cured.
Am willing to donate toward her care. Wishing her a speedy recovery, and gentle (((HUGS)) x

She has come to my work and she is not chipped nor did she have a collar or ID tag on. She also has a HUGE mass from her chest to the bottom of her rib cage which is being investigated. We have aged her at around 4 years old and called her Peanut Last edited: 2020-12-27 07:24:04 by Niamh
