By the edge of a wood at the foot of a hill,  Is a lush green meadow where time stands still !   Where friends of a man and woman do run when their time on earth is over and down,  for here and between this world and the next is a place where each beloved creature finds rest.  On this golden land they wait and play till rainbow bridge they cross over one day !  No more do they suffer in pain or saddness for here they are whole their lives filled with gladdness, Their limbs are restored their health renewed their bodies have healed strength imbuled! They run through the grass without even a care , , untill one day they stop and sniff the air. All ears pricked forward eyes dart side to side and then all of a sudden one breaks from the pack... For just that instant their eyes have met together again person and pet, so they run to each other this friends from long past their time of their parting is over at last,  The sadness they felt whilst apart has turned into joy once more in each heart, they embrace with a love that will last forever And side by side they cross over together x safe forever jazz x so sad she was beautiful, great danes are so graceful i miss my great dane blarney stone who is up there with you x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Paula, this is so so sad and the worst time of year for this type of bad news.  Could not believe it when Yasa alerted me.  Do not blame yourself I lost my Golden Retriever 'Max' by the door not being shut properly.  Deepest thoughts are with you and your family at this very upsetting time.  Run free at the Bridge lovely Jazz and sweet dreams you will be missed.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I'm so sorry - completely gutted and shocked myself to receive the news that this beautiful girl has been found dead. I know no more at the moment. Everyone is too upset. Bless you Jazz, and your lovely family who absolutely adored you. I am so so sorry, and I wish I could turn back the clock for you. My love to all of them at this terrible time. Run free and be safe in the sunshine by the bridge sweet Jazz xx  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hope you get some sightings soon, we do have a trap in Kings lynn but not so sure a dane would fit in it. Its always a worry that dogs will dart out the doors when opened I now keep puppy panels across the hall so they cant get nr any doors. Or make sure locked in a different room. Good luck with your search and hope good news very soon. If any sightings worth trying Bar B Q with those garlic sausages.    Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Paula - I have uploaded your photo to the poster. When logged in, click on Dog Poster 1 above the dogs detail boxes, and it can be viewed and printed off. You will need hundreds of posters up as soon as possible. I have also emailed you some documents to guide you with this, and contact numbers. I feel she is probably hiding under a bush somewhere shaking with fright if she is anything like my Dane, so I do hope she will hear you and can be temped out. I'm hopeing she has not run too far, or has circled back and is not too far from home, but if not back in the morning, spread your posters further afield and get on to the media as suggested in the email info. Do please stay in touch, and update us as to any news of sightings. Good Luck Paula.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Come home Jazz xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Basically - Jazz has shot out the front door with another dog as owner came home earlier this afternoon. Rural location, but both dogs have gone across a busy road. The other dog was hit by a car, but not badly hurt, and is at home now, but Jazz did not come back. Dog wardens, pounds, police and vets have been informed, and owner has done a door to door in the village to alert people she is missing. Jazz should hopefully know her way home as long as not run too far, as does get walked out in the area. She is probably traumatised now, and may well be hiding up and too frightened to come out. Have advised owner re- scenting and I am awaiting a mobile pic, that should be with us shortly. Stay safe Jazz, until you are home x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
