That is really ood news to see that Mini is now home. They do say that animals improve much quicker when in their own homes with theire owners; familiar surreoundings too. Delighted to read the latest update on Mini. Yay she can go home! Not completely healed but on the way and being home can only help in the recovery process. The medical care given by Liverpool veterinary school has been brilliant. This must be such a relief to Ami to have Mini back home.

Ami,there is a charity on Facebook called Kevin Cares that helps people with vet bills. Certainly an option worth exploring. Also you might want to consider generating interest via your local paper or the internet version of Metro often looks for stories like this.
Will make another donation next pension payment day.

Today's update "Following an update from the vet the cost of mini’s treatment has now surpassed what the original estimate of between 4-7 thousand was. This is because of the complication of mini’s aspiration of fluid into her lungs and need for a ventilator as well as the feeding tube into her stomach so we are now above the estimate. So sadly I need to raise the target to 15,000 we also did not take into account the percentage that go fund me takes. Also I wanted to note if anybody did want to see any vets bills and receipts etc you can contact me directly via Facebook but I won’t be uploading these documents on here as someone is stealing out photos and using them against our wishes regrettably someone we thought was helping this is why I ask anyone who wishes to donate to do so only on here and not through any other platform. Thank you all we feel so blessed by the help"

Today's update "So.. we just received the wonderful news that mini has made a big improvement from yesterday and is now up and moving around her cage and requiring less sedation she now has some sight back in her left eye and what this is showing is that as we’re giving her time her brain is healing and the damage is repairing itself! This is what I knew she could do and this is what the vet wanted to see to continue with her treatment She still has a long road ahead but this is so positive and if she continues like this she will soon be back in our arms and comforting my little boy with his melt downs. This little dog has done so much for us and brought so much joy and love this is the only thing I can do for her and with all of yours help it’s made it possible to get this far so please can I ask everyone again to keep sharing and asking anyone you know if they could donate just the smallest amount it all adds up and makes a difference❤️ The vet will be sending a video of her when she gets a chance and I of course will share this with you all. Thank you

Today's update on mini "Mini’s lungs have cleared the infection and she is off the ventilator and breathing strong on her own They fed her with the tube into her belly this morning and this afternoon which she tolerates well! She is needing less sedation medication I’m told this is a good thing. They will try to stop her sedation today at 3 we took a dictaphone with a recording of our voice and her favourite treats to smell the vet seems to think she is blind this could be temporary she’s not sure but this could be why she is getting upset when she wakes up and only seeing black so we thought hearing a familiar voice would try to calm her we should get an update this evening before the vet finishes for the night ❤️

Little Mini is fighting; here is the latest update "Last night the vet called and said mini had taken a sudden turn for the worse and couldn’t breath alone so they put her on a ventilator and did an X-ray of her lungs and it showed some fluid she had coughed and with her gag reflex not working it went into her lung so they warned her chance now is very very low and it could be traumatic to put her on a ventilator they also said it was 2000 a day to do that but we said do it and this morning she was stable she took the ventilator really well they put a tube into her belly to feed her direct so no food or fluid can be coughed back up and risk the same happening again. Then this evening they just rang and said the antibiotic must be working and she started to fight the ventilator and breath alone so they took her off it and she’s back stable now so back to same as before just waiting for the blood clot to disapear in her brain and she said she thinks the damage will be the front part of the brain which might be personality so she might look like mini but seem like a different dog but luckily dogs don’t need a lot of they’re brain they don’t do maths so that’s lucky I’m so glad she’s fighting it’s good because her body is doing exactly what it should and quicker I’m so proud of her and I’m glad we took the chance and it wouldn’t be possible without all these donations please keep sharing and bring my little girl home ❤️"
