Luca's owner has heard on the grapevine that he may have been shot, but there is no evidence so far.

Have spoken to Luca's owner and there have been no sightings of him so far, but he is still actively looking and hoping to find him. Please look out for this lovely boy.

Have sent Luca's poster to all Scottish Rescues. Spoken to owner and so far,there has been no sighting of him. Please look out for this lovely friendly boy.

Thanks for your responses so far, I'm still hopeful and it's nice to see so many helpful people on this site and around the Carron Valley area.
Regarding the specific area he was lost, I'll try to describe as best I can:
If you follow the dirt road from the car park at the entrance to the Carron Valley, carry on through the green traffic gates and follow the road until you come to a fork in the dirt road. From this point I headed hard left up the hill and carried on to the top of the hill. At this point there is a mountain bike trail. I continued down the hill to where it turns hard right. At this point he disapeared from site.Both my Huskies dissapeared for over 40 minutes and only my bitch returned.

I would also like to express my thanks to all the people who have helped in my search. The forest ranger Andy, Fraser the guy who owns the fishery, David and Sheila the local farmers and Anne who I met while delivering fliers to the Carron Bridge Hotel.And also to the lovely people I have dealt with at the various pounds and kennels. Not to mention Linda/Sable at Doglost.
It gives me a lot of hope knowing that people care so much.

Hi many of us train our huskies at Carron and we have a wide network of husky people in the area.  it would be good to have details of where exactly he was lost and which direction he ran away in.  i also work for the reservoir owners, Scottish Water, so will alert the local ops guys tomorrow.    Judy

I have posted this on the Scottish Siberian Husky Club website, as carron valley is a place often used for training Sibes. I hope luca is found soon

Can you please upload a photo if Luca, and it will be automatically added to the poster which you can download after logging in, and clicking on poster one above. Distribute posters everywhere you can. Inform the dog warden and all the local rescue centres ASAP. May we also have the details of how Luca went missing?
