Thank you for the notifications. Milo was microchipped & it was updated at the time to say that he has been stolen. We feel it's unlikely that he is still alive now as he had a serious illness that required regular medication and daily upright feeding and drinking. He would have required veterinary attention too and without his medication he would have deteriorated. It breaks my heart to think what may have happened but realistically it's not something he could have survived without special care and medication.

Frankie1953 I'm really grateful for the message that you left for me and I did ring back and speak to your husband on Friday evening. It means a lot that people haven't forgotten about Milo and are still looking out for him. I was glad to hear that the dog had been reunited with its owner.

Hello My husbands aunt lives in Liss . At 5.30 tonight an older black labrador turned up at her gate. It was friendly and obviously lost. She has a dog herself so a neighbour offer to look after him whilst enquiries were made. I know its a long time ago Milo was lost but Greatham isnt that far from Liss. He didnt have a collar but had a white band round his neck... unfortunatley no name or contact details on it WE have rung you and left a message

Black Lab type dog seen strolling loose on main roads and country lanes where traffic speeds. Deer already hit and killed. 😢
This Dog has been seen throughout the nights and early mornings for some months now, on and off.
Beldam Bridge area, West End, (Chobham boarders) GU24 postcode.
Camera footage is at night every time so far and he’s black, so it’s not a great help to put a still photo on here.
I cannot see any collar in the footage. It maybe male or female.
I’ve called the dog warden three times and RSPCA once but they can’t help unless the dog is contained. I don’t have any way of doing this alone. He doesn’t come every night.
I’ve put food out but the foxes eat it!
This is my second time of trying to put word out on Facebook and other local apps and social media to try to find his owners or anyone who knows anything before this poor dog is hit by a car. 😓
Could his owner have died, gone into care? Maybe the dog was stolen and has escaped and is trying to find his home ? 🤷‍♀️
Debbie123
Thank u for letting me know I’m sorry it’s not him but I will keep looking
SamW
Thankyou Debbie, it's so good to know that people are looking out for him. That dog is very similar to Milo but we have been able to rule him out as Milo has a distinctive black spot which is fairly big on his tongue and it is clearly visible with his tongue out. Thanks again

I think u should take a look at this one - they r very alike https://www.pets4homes.co.uk/classifieds/2789332-labrador-dog-for-sale-alcester.html

From Post on Drone Sar - > MONETARY REWARD OFFERED FOR THE RETURN OF MILO
We are offering a generous monetary reward for information leading to either the safe return of Milo, or evidence of his passing.
Our dearly loved 9 yr old black Labrador Milo went missing on a regular walk near home on Friday 19th June 2020 at approx. 8.50am.
Since that time we have searched the surrounding area several times aided by generous friends and volunteers together with drones and dogs. Sadly we have found no trace of him and most surprisingly there have been NO confirmed sightings to date. Due to the circumstances surrounding his disappearance Milo has been reported stolen.
Although his disappearance has been reported to the police we are NOT looking to pursue any action if we can get Milo back safely. It may well be the case that someone has him in good faith.
Sadly it is also possible that Milo has passed away; if this happened whilst he was in in someones care or control, then we would appeal to you to please let us know so that we can at least have some closure. Similarly if you have any information regarding a dead dog matching Milo’s description then please get in touch.
Milo has a disease, myasthenia gravis (MG) and requires medication 3 x a day. Without this he will suffer muscular weakness and possible collapse. He also requires a specialised feeding regime to prevent him regurgitating food and water. There is a high risk of him acquiring aspiration pneumonia if he is fed normally and, prior to his diagnosis for MG in Oct 2019, he nearly died from this. We have nursed him back from the brink so you can imagine how devastated we are to lose him now and in this way.
Due to a recent skin disorder Milo has a distinctive shaved patch roughly 3” square on his back and he was being treated with antibiotics. The hair will have started to grow back but this feature should stand out and make him more easily identifiable.
Milo is neutered, microchipped and he was not wearing a collar at the time of his disappearance.
Please can I ask that you share this post and help us find Milo 🐾❤️
Also please don’t stop looking for our boy when you are out and check your sheds, barns and garages.
If you have any information don’t hesitate to contact Sam (07970 290731) or Mick (07920 207903).
Thank you xx
