Hi - Just catching up with this case - so forgive me if I suggest things already done. Where did she go from post code or street, if you prefer not to put that on here then you can call me on 07710 752448 if you'd like some help, I'm based in Cambridge.   Also were there any security cameras anywhere near that route. What day was is, was anything special going on nearby - fair, market?? do you remember any regular dog walkers, cars etc. Can you go back in your memory and picture anyone/thing else going on.Is it farmland, if so has the farmer been consulted? Its all worthwhile if one little thing triggers a memory that can lead to getting your pup back. I have a very similar little girl and would be pleased to help you because I know how I would feel. Keep your chin up and keep going ! She is chipped, so keep the publicity going. She could well be in your area, but just being hidden until you cool off.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Daisy has been put forward to appear in our Countryman's Weekly article which regularly features a number of our missing dogs, which means she should be in over the next week or the week after.    Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Daisy is still missing very sadly.  I have been making phone calls and emailing loads of flyers to vets, kennels, rescue centers, counsils, etc.  Everyone has been great in responding to the email in regards to posting the flyer on their notice boards and showing all of the members of staff her picture.
So thank you to everyone for all of their time and efforts in helping totry and find our little Daisy.
Please keep spreading the word and flyers to everyone you know.  The more people who know, the better our chances of getting her back safe and sound.
Thanks again. Take Care and come home soon Daisy-Doo.

Rosie thanks for your email. You are doing a brilliant job. I understand its very hard when you have two such young children. I have emailed you the contacts you wanted. I think perhaps before time marches on too far, it would be best to get something else in the papers now. You should only have to ring the news desk and give them your story, and email them some photos. Stay positive and keep going Rosie. x Helen thanks - I will email you.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Have emailed a list of canine contacts, ie dog clubs etc in Suffolk, and one particularly in Hartest which may have members who who can help. These people will between them, have hundreds of contacts and know of many web sites that this can be posted on. This has gone to Rosie and Jimi. On the day that Daisy went missing, I would have thought that she would have definitely been able to follow her mother's scent back to where she was lost from. I'm wondering if this is what happened, only a good few hours later when she had had enough of the pheasant, and someone has seen her, and picked her up, probabaly for her own safety. If this person was travelling, she could now be out of area, which is why we need to get this doggie network involved. Please can anyone also poster all places dogs are likely to be sold on from, ie pubs over wide area, markets, fairs, boot sales. Continue to do this, and ask the regular stall holders to take posters and display them in their vans. If any of our helpers are reading this, please do come forward and help daisy get home. Thanks.    Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hello Rosie, welcome on board Doglost. Thank you for your comment. I know how you must be feeling. It is the absolute worst time for dogs to be missing around firework night. There are lots of owners in the same situation, but also lots of dogs are als being found. Please take the time to read some of the other lost dogs threads, and also some of the re-uniteds. They may give you some ideas. To be honest I dont think any lost dogs will be moving around much this week. If they have a source of water and some sort of food, they will lie low until they are sure its safe. I hope you have managed to contact all of the rescue centres on the list, and either send a poster of leave a very good description. Keep getting more and more posters out each day, and widen the circle. If no news, it may be that someone picked her up that day, when they were visiting the area, and we need to make her very well known. So much so, that she is too hot to handle. Try contacting newspapers that cover a wider area, and poster pubs that are further out. It is important you inform vets over a 50 mile radius also. If you need more lists i have them. Maybe Rosie has got stuck somewhere? Have you tried taking your other dog out with you to the area where she went missing, say on a flexi lead, to see if she leads you to her? If you have car boot sales in your area  you could leave posters under the windscreens, or a large supermarket where you could do the same in their carpark? Hope she's home soon xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi There, this is Daisy’s owner, and we still have not found her, in fact we haven’t heard a thing since she went missing.  Any information would be great.  We’re still hoping and praying for her safe return.  Thank you to those volunteers who have helped us so far in giving us lists of people to contact.  Rosie

Have spoken to owner. Unfortunately there have been no sightings or news of Daisy since she ran off chasing a pheasant. Extensive searching around the area, articles in two local papers, and a great deal of postering  has still brought no news at all. Daisy is well known around area and people have been made aware. It is all very open countryside and fields, but farmers and game keepers have reported no sightings also. Dog wardens, police, and vets have been informed. I have emailed a contact sheet, plus other helpful information. Photos have been received by email and will be on site shortly. Stay safe Daisy until we find you x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
