- REUNITED!!! Can Oscar go into the BLUE now please? Close neigbbour has been in touch with his new owner. Apparently he was found hiding under a tree hungry, and very traumatized after his previous loving owner passed away. He was rehomed with a neigbour who adore him. Oscar has settled dowm now, and is happy, and content. Owner would like to thank Doglost, and all those who shared x

- Oscar may be trying to find his way back to his previous home, and may have become lost, and disorientated. Or as he is a timid boy, he could be hiding close by. Check All outbuildings including empty houses, and cellars THOROUGHLY as some cats will hide in or behind an object within, esopecially if timid like Oscar. Cats can stay very still, and quiet when hiding. Theuy are renowned for it . Also they can survive wothout food for weeks. They will lick on relevant items to keep themselves hydrated Check trees; any deckings too. Put some tuna/sardines or chicken in his dish, and call him. Night/early mornjng is best. Rattle some treats too. Just because you don`t see a cat, it doesn`t mean they aren`t around. Place his UNWASHED blanket into a clean container, along with your scent too Leave in the garden in a sheltered spot.or hang on the washing line if dry. Cats can smell from quite a long distant away. Empty contents on to the garden as his scent will be there. DO NOT laeve the litter tray/box out in the garden as other cats could us it, ans it may uopset, and confuse the cat. Litter tray contents only, if possible Wipe his scent on your garden fences, gates, doors too; anything leading up to the garden. Try a squeaky toy as it may attract his attention. Take a good walk around the area, holdihg an object with his scent on, and rattle some Dreamies. Someone could be feeding him. (Common pronlem). When it`s nightfall, and you are searching, use a strong torch as the light will reflect a cats eyes. Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too. Ask around, espoecailly those with children they can be very observant where aninals are concernd. Post in shops; post offces too if you can. Ask family friends. and neighbours to share as well as DL. Twitter too. You could also post a LOST CAT ad in a National newspaper too in case he has climbed into a vehicle, which many cats do. Paws xd,
