TO JO, AND EVERYONE AT DOGLOST   a huge THANK YOU from us all, we are sooooooooooo excited to have Honey back where she belongs, though by the look on her face, I think Honey will miss the huge adventure, which im sure all this was to her! She will probably need a trip to the salon for a very short hair cut as is covered in brambles and the like!! You all worked so hard to get her home, gave us hope when we were losing ours. You do a fantastic job and I will advertise ur wonderful service at each and every opportunity!   Thank u, im just off to continue pampering my pooch!....lol   Love Louise, a very happy and relieved pet owner!  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

HONEY IS HOME!! Just had one very happy Louise call to say a man knocked at the house after seeing the big sign outside their house saying Honey was missing, as he had just seen a similar dog by the farm shop near the fields at the end of the road. He very kindly drove Louise down there, they saw Honey and she did a runner! They then spent about 20mins trying to catch her and finally success! She is no worse the wear for her ordeal although she may be sporting a new haircut soon (Honey that is not Louise!) as she was rather full of brambles. She will be off to have a microchip soon as well. Welcome home Honey!  (And the spooky thing is I said to Louise last night that last time I posted posters and flyers to an owner who had no printer the dog was home before the posters got there.....its happened again....think I should do it for all the lost dogs out there! What was I doing just as Louise called.....printing Honey's posters and putting them in an envelope!! Fab!)Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thank u for all ur support, especially to Jo, who has given us so many helpful tips.  We are desperately sad, especially my 4 children, we are lost without Honey. My other dog is pining for her too. If anyone has any information, pls do get in touch.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Honey escaped from her home in Wennington Rd, Rainham at about 8.45am. She was seen running up the road and in the area of Brady Primary School but after that was not seen again and there have been no sightings or calls. It was the start of school time so a parent may have picked her up or she could have run further up the road in the direction of some fields, although her owners think it is more likely she was picked up. Honey's owner Louise and family are of course missing Honey like crazy. They have contacted the council, local vets, kennels etc. They have no printer at present so have been putting up hand written posters around the area. I am going to send an A4 poster and also the smaller flyers by post and Louise is going to go to PC World or somewhere similar and get copies done. She will then continue to blitz the area. She's also going to try and get some coverage in the press and on local radio. Fingers crossed little Honey is home very soon. If anyone is local and can help I know it would be very much appreciated.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks for uploading a more clearer pic, we will swop it over so this one displays on the poster.  If not done by time I get home from work later this evening I will do it.  Good luck hope this little girl is found soon.   Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Sorry to see Honey is missing. Owners, I will call you tomorrow as its too late now but please ensure you have called your council's dog warden and notified them Honey is missing. Also ring local vets, kennels etc. Then, really importantly, you need to poster the local area. Hopefully someone has found Honey and as soon as your posters go up they'll know where she is missing from and give you a call. Thanks Majorjet for adding the photo.....if we've not received a better one before I speak to the owners I will ask to see if there is clearer one available!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
