DogLostJayne - Founder Doglost.
e mail from owner:   Hi   Just to let you know I have now got Sorrel back home. She was taken to the RSPCA kennels in Leicester at 3pm.   The boy that had taken her to the RSPCA  had been asked by a man in the street at 10am if he liked dogs and would he like to take her for a walk and come back in an hour. When he and his friend returned the man wasn't there, they knocked on a few doors to find out where he lived but they all said no-one in the area had a dog like Sorrel. He took her home and when his mother returned she tel the police who told her to take the dog to the RSPCA. She looks ok with no injuries but very tired, I think she must have been out all night roaming, but I will never know where she went.   A very happy ending   Thank you for you help and adviceLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

What a beaty Sorrel is. You have a good chance of getting her back as she is chipped. Please inform the dog warden and all local rescue kennels ASAP, if not done already. Please download her poster, by clicking on Poster 1 above after logging in, and then print off and distribute everywhere you can think of. Vets, shops, pubs, forestry, parks et. are a good bet. Postering is the best way of finding your dog. The more people who see her posters the more chance there is of her being found.Someone may have taken her in, so get her profile out there. Hope she is found soon. Best wishes.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
