I have just read the Facebook page and so sorry to hear what has happened, you should set a reward page up to find this scumbag and upon conviction give the proceeds to that person who should and would know this piece of crap up, as 100% people know who has done this so sad act. Please do not give up finding this monster and if you set up a reward page I would and so many more would gladly donate to find this scum, again so sorry it has come to this, please take care.

thoughts with family, such an awful time...Run free at Rainbow Bridge lovely lad...so very sorry he didn't make it home...he will always walk beside you in your hearts and memories.

Good luck for today’s search🤞I’ve spoke to several cyclists and joggers this morning heading down the track from Woodhouse to Beighton going to Rother Valley, all going to look for Axel x

I’ve walked round fields At Woodhouse junction this morning in case Axel has followed track from Rother Valley.Sadly nothing but it was a faint hope that he had come that way .

Possible sighting at Sothall which is on the western edge of Rother Valley country park. There is a search party at Rother Valley today.

It is still not certain whether 2 sightings in Renishaw are of Axel or a local dog. There is currently a search party out in Renishaw, but please will everyone keep an eye out for him in Rother Valley as well as Renishaw. Drone pilots are ready to assist when weather conditions make it possible. Although it is several miles between Rother Valley and Renishaw, it is a straightforward route down the Trans Pennine Trail.
