Hello
I'm so sorry to hear Cassie is missing. My husband and I are dog walkers for Dogs Trust Kenilworth and spent a lot of time with Cassie and we have some photos of her if they are of any use to you.
I really hope she finds her way home soon; she is a beautiful girl.
We wish you the very, very best in your search for her. Jo from the kennels has been keeping us updated!
Take care,
Linsey & Alaric

Thanks for the advice, we have done all this already and contact them on a regular basis. We were made aware of a sighting in the Hartshill area on 02-10-08 of a Doberman running loose and are following this up. Once again thanks for the advice and support.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

There is still a real good chance that Cassie is around the area she bolted from but is hiding up as still so frightened. Most dogs do come back to the place they last saw their owners. Find a safe place around that area and leave some of her bedding and clothing with your scent on, plus some smelly food such as tripe or pilchards. This will keep her in the area if she has been around. Please try to return there yourself at break of day and early evening times when  she will be wanting food and out and about. Hand out posters to dog walkers in that area and place posters everywhere even in the back side windows of your car. Good luck with this.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Amanda, so sorry your lovely Cassie has run off, but thank you for registering on Doglost and uploading a photo. Your poster is available, and can be printed from your dogs page by selecting Dog Poster 1 .    Please, if you have not already done so, notify all dog wardens, police , animal shelters and vets, and leave us a comment with exactly what has been done, and any sightings. Also please visit your local pounds in person, as after only seven days, if stray dogs are not claimed they may be re-homed. To leave comments you must be logged in ( left hand side ?log in button)  and then once on your dogs page, click by the blue cross where it says add a comment. We will do all we can to help. You need to poster both in the location she ran from, and more widely. Everywhere that people go.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
