Oh my goodness !!!!!!!  What an amazing surprise to log on to. We have had so much sadness with Rainbow Bridges lately, and this is just wonderful. Thank you so much to the person or people that saved her life and have cared for her so well, and well done to her persistant owners for not giving up. This must give so much re-newed hope to others in the same situation who think that their oldies can not survive. Well done Meg - you definitely had a guardian angel that day. Welcome home sweetheart xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

The couple from Northolt found her wandering in the road with cars swerving to miss her. A relative  of the couple lived locally and if I am correct read the local paper and got in touch with the finder.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Oh WOW!!! that's fantastic news. This brought a smile to my face and tears to my eyes. We had a dear old black Lab who was well over 15 years old when she went to Rainbow Bridge and your Meg looks so much like our Misty. But, without a chip or a tag on her collar, how was she finally reunited with you? I mean Chichester and Northolt are not exactly close to one another, are they?! I expect that it goes wihout saying that this very precious and extremely gorgeous old girl will be receiving a nice, new, shiney ID tag on her collar as a welcome home present. I also wanted to say a thank you to the lovely person (or people) who picked her up and took her to safety. Welcome home dear Meg.

How wonderful that you got your lovely old girl back, it would have been awful if you never got her home, the not knowing.   Take care now, no more adventures at your age.  So, So pleased for you all.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi All, Just to let you know the number of posters we have put up or distributed on request is up to about 450 now. Plus I keep getting phone calls from people who have seen them asking how they can help so I email them the poster and they print some off and put them up in their areas. Also look out in the Observer this week, there should be an article and 2 photos! The photographer said today that Meg is the talk of Chichester! So we must be getting somewhere.....XLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hello All. A great big thankyou to all who are helping in the search for My Meg, especially Mistynsaschasmum. We too have been busy, with signs up outside the house where Meg was taken from, and over 200 posters up so far, covering Chichester, Cocking, Singleton, Bury Hill, Arundel, Bognor, and we will be covering west of Chi upto the Havant Roundabout today. The guys at Lab Rescue are also distributing for us. There are posters in both of our cars, in various big supermarkets, the sorting office in Chi for all the postmen, the council offices and pet shops. She has been in the Observer this week, and look out for 'Megs Story' in next week that I have written. I also managed to get her on Spirit FM last Thurs. Obviously local vets, police and dog wardens are also aware.     We know she's out there - lets hope someone will see something and get in touch.  X Thanks again to All XLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Photo coming shortly via e mail. The dog was picked up by a couple in their 60's driving a silver Ford Mondeo heading towards Chichester. They did knock on neighbours door who said it may belong to next door but owners never heard a knock and neighbours saw the couple put it in their car and drive off. Have put owners in touch with labrador rescue. Thanks for helping with the posters Barneys mum!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
