Oh no. This is beyond awful. I am devastated for Honey, for her humans, and frankly for humankind in general. So very very very sorry. :( :(

this is so awful words cant express the sorrow and anger for honeys family. the time is now that the law must recognise and punish the very dangerous people who do these terrible things. they and we all know the links between attacks on animals and humans by the same extremely evil people

Absolutely sad and devastated for the family of beautiful Honey...Run free sweet girl at the Bridge...I hope that you will be able to remember the lovely memories above this very difficult time...Honey knew she was loved and will always walk forever beside you...my thoughts are with you all, and those who were helping to find her, a tragic ending for you all and poor Honey ...I cannot say I understand the depths of how you must be feeling but I do hope cctv will bring you justice that you and Honey deserve x

Oh no" I cannot take this in. I really hope this low life piece of trash will be found soon, and gets what he deserves; not just a slap on the wrist. I believe there is stronger punishment today for this type of crime? Honey didn`t deserve this; neither did her owners. Please look down upon your family, Honey who really need your strength at this extremely tragic time for them. Hope the CCTV will bring some news. The dog got out of the owners home, she wasn’t lost at the BP garage. She was apparently sighted at the BP garage with a man. CCTV will reveal the identity of the Male, but filling in the gap between that sighting and her subsequent murder wont be straight forward. May the perpetrator if indeed she was killed by strangulation , rot in the karma which will follow them.

"Never in a million years did i think I'd be writing this.
We received the worst call we could have possibly imagined this afternoon.
Our furbaby was sadly found deceased on the canal path near cornbrook metrolink stop.
Post mortem has revealed our poor girl was strangled to death and left and was most likely killed on Tuesday.
WE ARE APPEALING FOR WITNESSES!!!! PLEASE if you saw Honey with whoever this man was we are BEGGING you to come forward with information. We will have justice for our girl. R.I.P Our beautiful beautiful girl. You were a huge part of our family & you have left a hole that nothing could ever fill. Sleep tight & be a good girl up there"

Pleased police informed. Is there CCTV near the spot where Honey was stolen? She needs to be made "TOO HOT TO HANDLE" Post STOLEN DOG ad in a National newspaper too. Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too. Ask around, especially those with children, as they can be very observant, where animals are concerned. Post in shops; post offices too. Hand out as many posters as you can; where, and when you can. Ask family, friends, and neighbours to share as well as DL. Twitter too. "SPREAD THE WORD" Paws xd.
