There's a further statement on the dogs FB page that says the info they and a 6th dog had died did not come from the police, but the police statement is very misleading.

My deepest sympathy goes to their families, Ralph, Jack, Pablo, Maggie, Charlie and Freddie are now in all our hearts for ever, I pray that their families get answers and justice for all the pain and distress caused to these dogs and their owners.

Absolutely gutted with this news and so upset for the owners. I hope the perpetrators are hit with the full force of the law. The owners will never trust anyone ever again and will always have a broken heart. Not an expected outcome for any dog lover.

I would like to thank everybody so much for their support, kind words, love & help in the search for the missing babies. But tonight I would like us all to stop. And just say a pray or give a little thought to each of them, I say this on behalf of myself,Becky & Liz. We have to stay strong to get justice. Our babies didn’t deserve this. They was innocent little dogs.

Please respect we cannot go public with any details just yet as the police investigation is still on going.

Hi Pennybee, yes the Police are carrying out a criminal investigation & this is why the dogs are recorded as stolen, dog sitters do require a licence from the council if they are boarding x

I am assuming no one has taken the word of the so called dog sitter who supposedly cannot even remember where she 'lost' the dogs, and that is why they are reported as stolen. I so hope they are found safe and well and the people responsible are suitably punished. It's about time anyone dog sitting has to get a licence and be checked out and have proper insurance.
