I would suggest if he is seen then not to approach but take a picture so owners can confirm its him and it will show his location. Then call the owners immediately and try to keep watch from a distance. Best not to call out to him as he sounds very nervous. I'm not sure what he us like with other dogs. We had one missing a while back and it was my dog who spent time playing with him while I sat down near by before he was caught. Owners can advise.

I’ll be there to help on the search. From my experience (springermad correct me if i’m wrong) the search team needs to know whether to call out for him or just search (calling may be confusing and cause deeper hiding) - also they need to know what to do if they hear or see him - so he isn’t scared off. X

Morning all. Did Benito go missing from a garden or was he on a walk and ran off? Was it a built up area or wooded or open land? Just trying to work out the circumstances of his disappearance and where he may be hiding. I presume all vets in the area are aware and also the microchip company. Keep positive there are a lot of people looking for him.

Fabulous, thanks SpringerMad. The owner has postered and has been out searching again today and is going out to look for him tomorrow as well. I will help for a couple of hours and again on Thursday if she needs it. Any more advice you can give her, she will be very grateful. X

Hi o have messaged Jenny with a tracker dog. I know she is in high demand from owners ar the moment but will update tomorrow with any help or advice she can give us.

My daughter SprockerMad has been out searching for a couple of hours this evening. No luck so far but hopefully we will get some news in soon.

Thank you. Posters are up. He is still missing. FB was a hoax.
He may be hiding under cars or bushes. He went missing near the church in old town. Near peter house.

Sorry to hear Benito is missing. I will share on local sites. If possible please try to get posters up in the area asap. Particularly in the immediate area she went missing from. If there are any schools shops doctors etc these are great places to poster as this will get the word out quickly.fingers crossed you will get some news shortly.
My daughter luves in bexhill and is a helper (SprockerMAd) who has alerted me and will be actively helping in the area.
