#Stopthetheft# The thieves don`t care if the stolen dog is on any meds. They just want to make a "Quick buck" And they probably tell the would be buyer "A load of rubbish" And the buyer may have just lost a dog, and has all the dog needs already, Hope she is okay (HUG) x

What always worries me - apart from all the 'major' worries of course, as to where Stolen Pets are, who with etc. is How on earth does a Thief - especially an Opportunist Thief - have all the things at hand which are needed to Care for a Puppy / Adult - they will have NO Idea of what Diet or Medication even, which a Pet requires. Many Dogs need certain brands or types of Diet - & then to be Sold On for ,no doubt, yet another change of Food. I DO Hope that Chapo has not been too upset by all this Change & trauma xx
I do not know how soon after being Stolen that Chapo was Sold on, or what 'spiel' they were given as if any papers or 'chip registered , but, IF they had not seen the Flyers, making her too hot to handle, I DO Hope that the 'buyer' would have taken Her to a Vet for a Medical Check Up, Innoculations etc, & to a Vet who Scans New Patients so they would immediately see her as having a Stolen alert -
We desperately need #PetTheftReform
Police need to be more consistent across Forces in treating Pet Theft very seriously & issuing a CRN much more quickly & then to investigate.
Penalties for PetTheft need to be much harsher - to Deter Men like the Ones Who Stole Your precious Girl .

The white transit van, after picking up this girl on Dunedin Road, drove off in the direction of Kingstanding Road, took a left & drove past Kingstanding Library. The van is plain white, immaculate condition, 1.5tonne with nothing on the roof. The driver is described as white male, late 30s to early 40s, Birmingham accent, short light brown hair with a short beard, not much more than stubble with grey bits, he is described as over weight/stocky build and is the one who picked up the dog. The passenger was a young white male, early 20s also with a Birmingham accent with shorter light brown hair, clean shaven & slight build. Both men were wearing dirty clothes, like builders would look x

My witness bob has just told me he got the dates mixed up it was not Thursday the 16th my dog taken it was the actual Tuesday the 14th the day she went missing :( the van took her on the same day, i tried calling exstention number 8055 160 to pc Buxton on 101 as she wanted to move the case quicker, i could not get through to her, i will not be able to get the CRN NUMBER till tomorrow .x

🙏 Are the Doglost team able to put 'pressure on' the Police to Issue a CRN with Much Urgency Tomorrow to Assign an Officer to Review the LIBRARY CCTV & to Issue a Public Appeal on their Social Media pages ?
We constantly see Missing presumed Stolen Dogs with a CRN but NO Public Appeals from Police - They really DO need to be Consistent across the Country & Take #PetTheft Very seriously .

Keep making your girl "TOO HOT TO HANDLE" Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too. Ask around, especially those with children, as they can be very observant. Post in shops; post offices too. Hand out as many posters as you can; where, and when you can. Ask family, friends, and neighbours too. Twitter too. All xd for the safe return of your girl x

Are your Family & friends helping you to knock on doors & explain the situation, ask for cctv ?

I will give you the CRN number when i will be given it next week by the officer they going to speak to me again.I do have a log number at the moment.

I Was told by my witness that the van drove in from kingstanding road onto dunedin road (great barr) and my dog was picked up on rock mead road (cul de sac) the side road, the van then did a U turn and drove back down the bottom of dunedin road toward's kingstanding road took a left past kingstanding library towards kingstanding circle roundabout but the witness could not see by then which exit they took from the roundabout. The libary has CCTV and the witness said they could possibly be one CCTV on the kingstanding circle. My witness said it all happened between 4.30pm/5pm.Thank you for sharing and posting the updates. Much appreciated, we just need out baby dog back home safely where she belongs, she must be frightened and scared. I'm going out my mind.:(💔💔💔💔

Lisa P. might agree with me that it is best to Advertise a 'Finder's Fee' rather than a Reward ? Rewards can often 'encourage' Dog Theft - but Finder's Fee can enable someone , even if the thief, known to them, can return a Dog as having been 'Found' by them & returning to Owner .
Could Doglost plz, be provided with the NAME of the ROAD where your Dog was 'picked up, so that CCTV can be requested- by 'us' & Police too hopefully .
Do you now have a CRN ? Plz let Lisa have this so that we can officially Share as Stolen.

Description of the builder white male driver= late 30s to early 40s, slightly shortish light brown hair with shortish beard longer that a stubble (but not a full on beard) colour of beard was light brown with greys in the beard.Clothes where dirty smudged clothes like builders wear. Did not have a strong Irish or other accent, just normal British accent from Birmingham, driver was slightly over weight stocky build, was driving a normal size plain white van,1 and half tonne capacity van with no box over the driver seat and no timber or nothing on top of the van roof.Driver did all of the talking to my witness the day my dog was stolen.

Description of the passenger=
Young white male in early 20s also wearing dirty smudge clothing like a builders wear, had light brown shorter hair, clean shaven face, body type skinny build,also had a British accent from Birmingham.

Please share and send alerts about this description of the two males that stolen my dog from my road on Thursday 16/05/19 between 4.30pm/5pm, if any public of member around the west midlands Birmingham Central see my dog with these two males or has been sold to anyone please come forward and do the right thing or if you see my flyers around please call my number or take my dog in and get it scanned. We just want her back home safely. A reward will be given. Thank you x

I have logged it to the police as stolen on Thursday afternoon, also microchip company is aware aswel, and k9 search, i have only got her up on animal search UK,hopefully if the builders are kind hearted to see the flyers around the are they should call me, or please take her in to get scanned. I pray whoever these builders are just please do the right thing. Thank you so much for your help and support, may god bless you forever, there is a reward on the flyer as to any public of member see her or know any builders in the Birmingham area see her with them please raise an alert and do the right thing. Daddy, Are you aware that many owners of Lost & Stolen Pets have a GROUP or PAGE Created - to help with Shares - keep your own facebook account private - keep all info about your Dog in One Place + their Poster, for Public Sharing to Groups & Pages & within individuals ? & enable anyone with any info, sightings etc. to Message Admin privately away from prying eyes.
I DO Hope that these Men are completely innocent & have taken Her to be scanned for a 'chip.
Perhaps you can place a Stolen Ad. on local Facebook Selling Sites ( if allowed by Admin of course) and on online Selling Site such as Gumtree ,Shpock, Preloved, Pets4Homes - Check Daily for Her as being advertised - I DID check through them last night x Of courses - Postering everywhere possible is Paramount.

Yes, the Witness sighting has been mentioned on the Group post x
Hopefully, the Police will ask to view the Library cctv - if they are unhelpful then plz ask to speak to a higher ranking officer. plz Ask them to Post an Appeal on their Social Media Pages & a good idea to contact your local Newspaper/s & Radio - ask them to Appeal for Sightings etc.
Have you visited Birmingham Dogs Home in person & asked to see all their strays ? Left them with Her photo ?.
Sometimes, Dogs Homes do Not scan, or a microchip fail to show on a scanner if it has migrated around the body.
Any other local Kennels ?. Is the Dog Warden Aware & has her photo ?
it is good that other local Missing Dog groups are aware too, hopefully local people will help with sightings of this Van & Males.
Are DogTAG west Midlands aware too ? they also have many local followers.

I will call the police again to issue me with a CRN NUMBER, I will also alert the microchip company to update her as now been stolen 😭😭😭😭 yes I'm near shops and houses bit the shops cameras face down, the only one is the library but K9 search said it's government property will be very hard to get them to check CCTV I will try ask the police. Has this latest info. been shared on DogLost 's West Midlands Facebook page/group. ?
🙏 Call local Police & let them know this - Ask them to issue you with a CRN ( Crime Reference No.)confirming that She Has been Stolen ( Theft by Finding / Not Reported as Finding Her) which will ensure that an Officer is Assigned to Investigate & You can Alert the Microchip Company to place a STOLEN ALERT on Her Microchip.& , once emailed to DogLost, Her Status can be updated to Stolen for Urgent Shares & Postering etc.
Microchip company Should be able to tell you If Her Microchip has been Scanned .
.....Are you nearby to other Houses & Businesses ? 🙏 Ask them if they have CCTV & to 🙏 review it for the Transit & the Men .
I am SURE She will be Found xx

Got a call from member of public today called bob saying they spotted my dog on Thursday 16/05/19 not far from my road,he tried to grab her but he also had his dog with at the time, he said my dog went to cross over the road from a side street onto my road and a white plain transit Van was driving up my road and saw my dog aswel,the van had pulled up on my road and two builders got out the van and said to bob that your other little dog will get run over, bob said to the two builders i am trying to grab the dog myself, and then the two builders grabbed my dog and said to bob we will take this dog to the police station down the road or to a dogs home. Then bob told me this was between 4.30pm to 5pm now he only just reported this to me today bless him as he saw the flyers down my road of my missing dog. He said i called your number on the flyer to see if my dog had been given in and returned to me from Thursday but it seems like the builder's have not reported my dog at all as i told bob i have not had any call from the vets or dog home yet. Bob is devastated aswel that he said he wished just he took my dog instead and took her home that thursday or even wishes he took the vans number plate at the time, but he trusted the builders to give my dog in to a vets or dogs home that Thursday. I have now reported it to the police today after speaking to bob,it's down as stolen dog, builders were described as male driver in late 30s to 40s and passenger young lad in early 20s with scruffy builders clothes, driver had a beard. They drove towards kingstanding circle great barr but bob could not see which exit they took on that Thursday. Please can you send alerts to keep a look for the description of these builders, they must be doing some building work round the great barr area, now i dont know what area these builders are from but they must need come back to the area again or if you see them around or further out the great barr area let me know please. My poor dog must be scared :( all the days she was out there she was trying to make her way back home and was snatched from my road :( i am heartbroken this all happened when she was just doors away from home :(. I just pray and pray that these two builders report her or take her in to a vets or dog home in Birmingham.I need my dog home family is in bits. All microchip detail's are up to date.x
