"Hello everyone. Amanda here from Kirkintilloch.
I am sending this message out to anyone who can assist me.
Sam has been seen by myself and two other dog walkers.
Yesterday 4pm onwards.
He is in Drumbreck Marshes. In Queenzieburn. We need numbers for the ground search . It's been a several weeks that Sam has been missing. He is difficult to spot as he covered in mud and orange marsh gunk.
If anyone would like to help us with
the Ground Search Team .
Doesn't matter if you are local or from another search and rescue organisation. We need numbers work along side with one another. To locate Sam. After all its about the animals not the people.
If there is anyone out there that possibly can help. With the Ground Search Team. I would be very grateful.
If anyone has feild camera's to enable us to set traps as well. Please get in touch.
I am looking for volunteers join us.
Please keep following this post. And if you are able to help in any way . I'm sure Sam's Mum and myself would be extremely grateful. It's been exceptionally difficult for his Mum . As he has been missing for nearly 4 to 5 weeks approximately.
Sam was being looked after in Waterside and bolted after some deer. He is originally from Paisley.
At the moment we are organising Drone Pilots. Ground Search Team. Traps and cameras.
Again if there are any other rescues that can assist us . I would be very grateful for your help.
Please contact me on : 07468 112 426
We need to arrange a meeting point tonight to begin searching for Sam. And divide into groups as it's a large area to cover. A search in this heat wouldn't be productive.
May I suggest 7pm at the industrial estate in Queenzieburn?
Thank you x

- Comments from post on Lost Dogs Glasgow FB group: "Seen yesterday in Barrhill Road and Barrhill Court, Kirkintilloch. He is coming out of the trees at the back of houses but gets a bit spooked ...... local people are so kind and helpful. They are all watching out for him and will take him in when they see him. He has been in one woman's kitchen."

- Sorry to see that SAM is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (142669)
- Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
- You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
- If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
- Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
- DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
