When searching, use the same deodorant, say that you use on a day to day basis as, she will recognize the scent. And your the one she trusts. Remember too that cats have very flexible spines, and can squeeze into very small spaces, so leave no stone unturned. Ask family, friends, and neighbours to share as well as DL. Paws xd.Last edited: 2019-04-05 18:57:46

Lucy is probably hiding somewhere.. Check ALL outbuildings including empty houses, and cellars, THOROUGHLY, as sone cts will hide in , or behind an object within, especially if timid. Take further checks too. Check trees; any deckings too. Put some tuna,
or chicken in her dish, and call her; night/early morning is best. Rattle some treats too. Place her UNWASHED blanket into a clean container, along with your scent too. Leave in the garden in a sheltered spot, or hang on the washing line if dry; used towels too. Wipe her scent on your garden fences, gates, doors too; anything leading up to the garden. Try a squeaky toy, as it may attract her attention. Take a good walk around the area, holding an object with her scent on, and rattle some Dreamies. Someone maybe feeding her. (Common problem). When it`s nightfall, and you are searching, use a strong torch, as the light will reflect a cats eyes. Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too. Ask around, especially those with children, as they can be very observant. Hand out as many posters as you can; when, and where you can. Post in shops, post offices too. Post
a LOST CAT ad in a National newspaper, in case she has climbed into a vehicle.

Presume you are looking after another cat, which Lucy maybe in awe of? Try this (When Lucy is found) Get two pieces of soft cloth about 6" x 6" and put the "Other cat`s" scent on one of them. Do this by wiping the soft cloth around the neck area. Then place the scented cloth under Lucy`s food dish. And then put some teats on her dish,as then she will associate the "Other cat" with some yummies. Do this with the "Other cat" too. Put Lucy`s scent on the other piece of cloth, and place it under the "Other cat" scent. Hope Lucy is home very soon. Paws xd.
