Best news - Kinky has been found. She had travelled about 20 kilometers and found herself on a sheep farm at Bourton on the Hill. It seems she closely avoided being shot as the shepherd there had her in the sights of his rifle and decided the sheep where more likely to worry the dog than the other way round! Thank goodness. So he caught her and rang. Kinky is tired hungry, but home. A big, big thank you to you all for your support, help and encouragement. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

So sorry no more sightings of Kinky if you would like to add your email details I will send you more info on scenting? But bascicaly  spread diluted urine in a star shape 500m in all directions so each route leads back to base and do regulary dawn & dusk, vacuum bag contents also good if urine not possible and feed at same time each day Pilchards are good and a bowl of water. Once you get a sighting and she is in a routine of taking food in a particular place it is then a waiting game and dont assume she will come running to you so dont rush to meet her take it slowy and no eye contact. She may have been picked up by now if you dont get anymore sightings so dont forget to contact Dog Warden, Rescues, Pounds daily, do a leaflet drop get postman to deliver or scouts etc and advertise in local papers or local radio. Good luck!

Thanks for all youir encouragement. Sadly no news since Friday morning. We are walking and driving around the area and have left food and urine at strategic places. Posters are plasted all over the place, so fingers crossed.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

These sightings sound promising, fingers crossed. Reynard, I've sent you some scenting and mapping instructions which were originally done by Sherlock, hope they help.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

In case you don't I estimate that Mickleton is about 20 miles from Eveshan just 5 miles from A3400 & about 15 miles from Stratford on Avon.
