WELCOME HOME HOLLY!  Can't tell you how pleased we are to see Holly is home.  Didn't know till I logged on tonight but Beardies In Need will be delighted when I tell her in the morning.  Do hope Holly recovers from her ordeal, I'm sure she will.  Beardies are such sensitive creatures.  Owners are very lucky this time - hope they will really keep her safe now and get her microchipped a.s.a.p.  Maybe posters did the trick we put loads in Soham over the past days.  Take care Holly.  xxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Holly was found this afternoon in Earl Soham Suffolk in somebody's back garden.  She will be returning home within the hour, she is very thin and has a bad eye.  We will be taking her to the vet tomorrow.  Thanks to everyone who helped us look for her!  We are so pleased to have her back. Dogs on the run are creatures of habit. Plot the sightings on a map and link them up in date order. It will probably form a triangle. It is within this she will be.  Also, look at the areas of sightings, is there a food/water source for her, if so, she will return. If there is a place that comes up more frequently, then this is where to put regular food down, topped with pilchards. The smell travels about 3 miles!! I do hope this is of some help and Holly is home very soon.

Thank you c j that's very kind.  Will keep a map marked out with any sightings now and scenting has also been suggested to owner.  Have been out again with more posters and talked to people in area.  There are other dogs running loose out there but we believe the latest sighting was by a family friend so should be reliable.  Understand owners were out searching yesterday and Kevin kindly went today but nothing more at the moment. Come on Holly, show yourself. xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

NEW SIGHTING 11.30p.m. SAT. 12th. KENTON nr. DEBENHAM. Posters are working, please keep looking out everyone. Thank you teddysmum well said!  We did inform several farmers in the area and there are many buildings which need checking regularly but lots more farms too. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
Teddys Mum - Area Volunteer, West London
I dont know this area but from the postings it sounds quite rural with lots of villages. If this is the case, can I assume farmland ? If so, let the farmhouses have posters also. Farmers are vigilant and may see her. Also, check outhouses, etc., in case she is holed up in one. I wish you all the luck in the world, Holly looks an absolute darling.

I've asked for additional number to be put on poster, then I will print some off and send to owner who does not have IT access.  Please everyone flood the area with posters when this is done.  Holly is very timid & scared of people but likes dogs.  She is a rescue and needs to be home with the people she trusts.  Keep safe Holly. xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks Jimmi for letting me know yesterday about this dear little beardie, Doreen and Graham kindly has taken a trap over to owners this morning if more sightings, last sighting Bedingfield last Thursday. advise owners to contact Eastern Bearded Collie Club Rescue not very good at geography but think Ipswich will be covered by them. They may have members who can help search. Stay safe little one xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
