why has this sweet little dog got no microchip? if it had been wearing a collar and tag of course it could have been removed........ but no chip. everyday in 2019 far too many dogs lost and found still have no id....... but why?

I found this dog wandering around Gatley Hill in Gatley. I do have a photo but cannot see where I can post it. Took dog to Greenbank Veterinary Practice and they passed him to the Dog Warden.

The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
