FOUND: A black entire male Cocker Spaniel with a white chest has been found on Beeches Road in Charlton Kings. He has no collar and is chipped but unfortunately the chip hasn't been registered so we have no details of the owner. We are keeping him here at our main branch at Overton Park Road but if no one comes forward we will have to contact the dog warden. Please share to help us find his owner and call us on 01242 522 429 if you have any information. Photos of the dog will be required for proof of ownership.

Just to update .. Alfie is still missing .. owners have now reported him to the police as possibly stolen as there have been no confirmed positive sightings … Local people are still putting up posters in the area and still people are out searching the area .. trail cams are in situ to cover a possible sighting that has not been confirmed.

Hi, we saw a black spaniel at 13.00 running loose along Selbourne Road (B3006), between Empshott and Greatham. The dog stopped and then jumped a gate into fields next to Church Lane; it was running very fast so we couldn’t see where it went... It seemed to be coming from Longmoor Common...

Circumstances of Alfie's disappearance.

With the high winds on Sat night and Sun morning, our side gate was blown open slightly and when we got up Sunday morning, both our dogs had gone. This was 8am. By midday, one of the dogs came back but not the other.

• If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
• Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
• A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (138279)
