From Holly's FB page "Hi all you lovely people. We have just got back from the vets after seeing our girl. She is doing well. She stood up and actually nuzzled into us a bit which was lovely. She has had another scan and they have picked up a fractured rib, however this will heal itself. She still has the air in her lungs, that's neither got worse nor better. She has been sick today with a bit of blood so the vets have decided to monitor her again throughout the night. She did not do very well this morning when they reduced her pain meds so she's had another strong dose today!!!!!
She has lost a massive 3.5kg and looks very thin, but we will work on that when she gets home!!!
Dan the vet at Cathcart & Winn is absolutely brilliant and we are happy she is in his very capable hands. All the staff at the vets are extremely helpful and Holly is getting a lot of attention and love there.
Again thank you to all you wonderful people for your well wishes it keeps our spirits up. We are praying Holly will make a speedy recovery. xx

Another update will follow tomorrow after the vet has called following another scan/x-ray...……….."

Further update from Holly's FB page "Hi everyone another update as I've just heard from the vets. Holly has to have a partial tail amputation as she's damaged it quite badly. She has an injury on her front right leg near her ankle which should get better over time but may cause short time difficulties for her. She has bruising on her left lung which again will get better over time. She has a partially collapsed right lung and this will need to be monitored closely in the short term. They are not going to drain it just yet as she is coping well with it. She is being kept warm, on a drip and antibiotics and has been given pain relief. She is passing a lot of diarrhoea due to stress and trauma, but that will come with time. Her blood tests are showing low levels of enzymes in her liver, again this is due to stress and lack of food. The only thing the vets are concerned about at the moment is the partially collapsed lung. She will be transferred to the out of hours hospital tonight to be closely monitored through the night. I will let you know more as soon as I know myself. thanks for your wishes xx"

From Holly's FB page "WE ARE AT THE VETS. SHE IS COLD AND DEHYDRATED AND SHE HAS SOME BRUISES AND WOUNDS SO THE VETS ARE KEEPING HER IN TO WARM HER UP AND GIVE HER A DRIP AND CLEAN HER WOUNDS. THEY WILL DO SOME X-RAYS AND TAKE IT FROM THERE. WHERE SHE WAS FOUND THE MAN SAID SHE HAD GONE THROUGH THE FENCE AND HE FOUND HOLLY UNDERNEATH HIS PATIO TABLE. THE VETS SEEM OPTIMISTIC"

It's been confirmed that the sighting I mentioned from FB was actually from Wednesday night & not Friday, so apologies if my post raised false hopes. I'm happy to help search for Holly, so will keep checking for more recent confirmed sightings.Last edited: 2018-12-08 08:50:42 by Sharon

Please note that the sighting at Morrison's today has not actually been confirmed as today yet. This also matches the sighting from the day she went missing, it's the same time & Location. This could be a miscommunication.
Sharon
I've just seen a note on Facebook advising of a sighting at Morrison's Aldershot this evening. They said at 18.05 but the timing of the message was before then, so assume maybe 17.05? She was last seen on the footpath heading towards Aldershot. A car was trying to follow her. I do hope more positive news will follow.

Hello everyone, I want to thank everyone for sharing so much about our poor Holly on line and spreading the word about her disappearance.
We were in the Wellesley woods yesterday evening at about 6pm these almighty loud fireworks went off and she panicked and fled.
There has been two sightings of her on social media. One was last night were a girl saw her get hit by a car by the Alexandra Hotel.
Another lady spotted her this morning on the big roundabout by the lok store place at the bottom end of Aldershot.
If anyone can give me any information regarding sightings I would be most grateful.
If anyone sees her she is a timid baby so please be gentle.
Please feel free to update your social media with this post from us.
If anyone finds her we are willing to give a financial reward for her return.

Many thanks again

If anyone has lost their black greyhound type dog, I unfortunately just saw him get hit by a car by West End park in Aldershot.

The dog was running around extremely fast on its own, looked pretty scared. I walked through the park to see if I could find it or the owner.

So if you know of anyone who’s black dog has gone missing in Aldershot, please let them know that he got hit pretty hard by a large car, but he did run off afterwards.

Absolutely gutted I couldn’t be of more help!

Both greyhounds were being taken for a walk at Wellington Statue in Aldershot when they bolted due to Fireworks at around 6pm. One was found, but Holly ran off and has been seen hit by a car on the dual carriageway next to Tesco and also hit again by the West End park.
She's an ex-racing greyhound, from Battersea Dogs Home. About 4 years old. Owner has had her about a week, so she may not know surroundings very well. Possibly injured.
