Sorry to say that the dog found in Hampstead wasn’t Honey, but another with frantic owners. Luckily Shadow was chipped.

Are there any more photos of Honey or any more details please that could help us help to locate

Thank you
Sorry to hear it is not honey but glad that Shadow has been reunited.
Thanks CJ for helping with the follow up. Good news this one has a happy ending. I was finally able to speak with the owner by phone and informed them of this unfortunate outcome. The owner stated they tried to call the number that had been left for him to call, but could not get through.

Anyway, thank you again CJ, Martin and Tracey for your efforts and kindness to help reunite

The found dog with Martyn has a chip and is a dog called Shadow whose owner has been searching for her...Our London coordinator Karen just about to reunite this dog with correct owner.

Sadly this is definitely not Honey...maybe Dog angel you can explain this to owner as do have his name only a number - but will text him to let him know,

i Will be trying to contact owner again this morning. If no luck I will make arrangements for some local helpers to scan this found dog -Although details from police report suggest Honey is not chipped.
In mean time a met police officer i have contact with is trying to get a local officer to visit the owner who reported the crime and inform them on the found dog.
Thank you Tracey,Martin and CJ.
I am unable to get hold of Honeys owner. He lives in my neighbourhood and called me yesterday, but did not leave a message. I think the best thing is to give the Camden/Hampstead Police the case number .2428991/18Ref from Colindale police. They have his contact details and as long as Honey is safe I'm hoping they can help further. I only posted out of kindness and being a dog owner myself.Last edited: 2019-01-03 22:49:27 by Dog_Angel
Thank you and spot on. I don't want the owners name and address, they should want my contact details... Obviously not, very strange. The police and council are also a joke. Dog_Angel, you are allowed to give the owners details to police so they can follow it up. How can data protection be an issue when a lost dog is involved. That would mean no phone number or name etc... Where would we all go from there.
Dog Angel, as they are a neighbour of yours can you not knock to make sure they are ok and picking up messages? It is heartbreaking to know a dog has been found that may well be Honey and is in care and no one can reach the owner as they are not answering. As you were their advocate to post this then have they not delegated some power to you to share their details for the purpose of getting this happily resolved. I would think they would not sue you under data protection if it meant it helped potentially reunite them with their dog. Thank you for what you have done so far.
Hi Cj the new phone number i have for the owner is what I gave to Martin. Will email you.

@Martin I have not been able to get hold of the Owner. Due to data protection law I can't give out their name and address.

Not sure what more I can do at this point.

Dog Angel is the number listed on here the owners as it does not ring but says the phone is switched off. I have sent a text yesterday asking whose number but no reply. We need a contact number for owner as have no other means to contact. so please would you email it to mark attention CJ.
There has been a dog found in Hampstead that seems to match Honey’s description and they have been taken to RSPCA Camden. Has the dog owner responded yet? edited: 2019-01-03 10:03:12 by Tracey
Hi Dog_Angel
I have left messages and called the number you gave me numerous times. Somewhat strange he is not responding immediately to establish whether it's Honey or not. Was hoping you would ask him face to face as he's your neighbour ? I have informed Camden Council and am waiting to have them collect the dog. They should also scan the dog to see whether it's chipped, legally it should be, so fingers crossed.
I await your response. Thanks.
Hi CJ I do not know if Honey is chipped. Was anyone able to get hold of the Owner?
I left him a message this afternoon during my lunch break.

Martin I have sent you an email.
Dog-Angel - do you know if Honey is microchipped as this is not listed ?
No problem. I'll be in touch via this thread tomorrow if I don't hear back from them. We'll take it from there.
Happy New Year
Thanks Martin!
I also left a message to let them know you will contact them.
Hoping they will get back to you because they have been very distraught and down this past month.
Please let me know if you still need help contacting them.
Happy New Year.
Hi Dog_Angel
Just called the most recent number you provided. Also sent a text, hopefully the owner responds soon. Last edited: 2019-01-01 21:07:38 by MartinV
Hi Martin,
This sounds like great news and would be a lively start of the year for the owner.Hope it is Honey.
The owners number changed

Do you also have a contact number?
Hi Dog_Angel
I may have found Honey in the NW6 (Kilburn/West Hampstead area). I have tried calling and texting the mobile number provided in the poster but have not had any response. The dog is not necessarily responding to the name of Honey but looks a good match. Please get back to me. Thank you.
Just informing that there has still been no news on Honey.
leaflets were created and sent for distribution.
Very sad for the owner not hearing anything.
Thanks for all your help guys.
Thank you Sharon and CJ. I have not heard anymore news yet.

Dog Wardern and Police were already notified last week.
Neighbour provided more information. Honey was taken by a young mixed race lad on the concourse at Grahame Park. If anyone has noticed a new white husky cross in their neighbourhood over the past few days please call the police or contact the number posted.
Posters will be generated soon.
Viv B
Have you put any posters up yet? I had a drive around the area this afternoon, where do you think Honey might head for, have you contacted dog warden, vets, chip company etc?

No news yet!
I'm hoping Honey is ok and she gets returned soon to my neighbour.
