I hope that these 2 poor boys start to thrive now they are back with their mum who must be so confused and devastated to have lost her babies. I hope those pond lives that stole them all get their severe and well deserved 'comeuppance' in the very near future. 6 little lives lost due to their sheer stupidity and greed. To know there were puppies they must have inside knowledge. I hope there is one decent person around to shop them. This government needs to get the penalties for animal crime - all sorts - and theft of people's pets increased to a fitting punishment instead of a nominal slap on the wrist. Even when cases get proven in court the judges hands are tied due to archaic laws of the land. Best wishes to little Reign and her babies xxx

Update !!!! Puppies are in a stable state they are in an incubator with oxygen and being put with mum every half an hour reign has not kept her head off my baby bump since the puppies were stolen its like she's trying to protect my baby cos she couldn't protect hers she is much much better in spirit but my soft gentle reign is now a nervous wreck she won't let any1 only me near the puppies she has gone into protection mode ..... My emotions are up and down I'm in bits thinking about these poor puppies dying for someone selfish reasons but at least we got 2 back alive and hopefully we can keep these 2 lil babies alive i want to thank every single person who shared I want to thank a few ppl u all know who u are who stuck their backs out to help the dog world is a stong community ... massive thankyou to Junior Obeng what u guys have done won't be forgotten about big love to everyone I'm going to be on the job around the clock to make sure these babies live to tell the story x

I am saddened & almost lost for words over this update. A horrific episode. Saddened for the family, and for the poor mother of the pups.

So unnecessary, and pointless. RIP poor little pups. Thinking of the family and praying that the remaining two pups make it through and can be reunited with their mother.

Police have launched an appeal after eight puppies were stolen from a house in Stretford.

Around 21.50pm on Tuesday 23 October 2018, police were called to reports that armed thieves had forced their way in to a family home on Alpha Road in Stretford.

The offenders – armed with a knife – made demands for cash and mobile phones, and threatened a 26-year-old woman, who is six months pregnant.

The men then took eight French Bulldog puppies, which were only a day old, and fled the scene.

Fortunately, no-one was hurt during the incident.

Detective Sergeant Dave Jones of GMP’s Trafford Borough, said: “It’s completely shocking that a pregnant woman and her young children have faced such a terrifying ordeal, and we are determined to find the men responsible.

“As well as finding the offenders, an immediate priority is to find these puppies. As they are only a day old, they are incredibly vulnerable and need to be brought home as soon as possible.

“I need anyone with information about the whereabouts of the puppies, or the men responsible, to please contact police as a matter of urgency.”
