Comment from Heather the lovely lady from Cola's Rescue......Cola update. He has been found by an absolute hero, some may say a foolish man but a man with a heart of gold who stopped traffic and crossed to the other side of the motorway and picked Cola up after he had been hit by another vehicle. I have spoken to Matt and hopefully will get full details from him later. He took a boy to the vets where his adopters and myself rushed to see him. He is now just arriving at the hospital where he will be further assessed and be given all the treatment he needs. He does have a substantial leg injury but has managed to drink and eat a little and is bright. Thank you so much to everyone who has shared, canine capture for their amazing assistance, dogs lost, and everybody who has given us Help and encouragement. Please do not further speculate as to how this has happened it is not helpful. Cola’s rescuer Kayte and his adopters Rebeca and Alex and in fact all of us have been in absolute bits. I am sure Rebecca and Alex will update along the way with his progress. Cola never deserved any of this but be assured that everything will be done now to get this boy back together.

I have shared the post Face Book and one of my contacts came back to me with this answer .. maybe worth a look ---There is a pub near there called the Romper and it’s also close to premier inn, call them as it may be attracted to places with food, it must be so hungry as they don’t feed them throughout the day whilst travelling!

Reports that the dog was hit by a car approx 1930 last night between jcts 5 and 6 of M56 and ran into adjacent fields
Heather Cake “Janis Hett it was our dog hit by the car. We are hoping he was just clipped and have searched extensively tonight. . There will be people out in the morning with thermal imaging to try and locate him and as long as he is not chased we hope he can get to the feeding station set up”
Copied from social media.

Have tweeted out details and have had this tweeted back by @benclarke too (who's profile does say Manchester)

"Ran straight in front of me, about 7pm had to swerve round it. No idea how I missed it."

Shared on my Facebook page. Hope Cola is soon recovered, poor boy xx

We have searched extensively for several hours. We have feeding station and camera set. Sighting of any are needed... but please do not try and approach him unless he comes to you. He is particularly afraid of males. For those who have asked he is a male neutered German short head pointer. His microchip is now registered to the owners. We feel at this point a trap may be the best way of securing him. The owners email and mobile number are now updated on the poster along with mine as I am the closest to the airport area

Hi Rebecca, I met you & Alec this evening. If you message any of the admin or co-ordinators they will be able to add your details to Cola's profile. Best of Luck xx

Rebecca might be worth texting Heather as think she is out searching and might not check in here that soon.

Ella is the Greek word for come which is why he will respond. Pronounced HellA as a command, it is a greek verb. It is confusing I know.
