- This is so very sad and obviously totally unacceptable. Poor boy - he’s so underweight and looks wet and dejected. We’ve had Rotties in our lives since 1984 (long before they became popular as a ‘status’ symbol) and they are such loyal, clever, affectionate dogs who love their owners unconditionally (even the bad owners...) and also love their routine and home comforts. It doesn’t look as though he’s difficult to ‘capture’ and so hope a kind caring person or Rottie savvy Rescue can help this lovely lad. I live many miles away in North Kent but can someone please update this page because I don’t ‘do’ Facebook, Twitter etc but do love Rottweilers. Fingers crossed.

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
