Dear Sue, I am very sorry to hear about the loss of your mum, Jack must have been a big comfort to you in this time. I am so hoping that you get him home to you and now the weather is better some nice long walks in the sunshine will be good therapy for you both. Try to get some posters up in Newton Road, be may very well be still local. Good luck, I don't know what else I can do as I am probably about 200 miles away, if I have any other bright ideas I will let you know. Take Care JulieLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Sue hope that you don't think that I am being too pushy, but I can put an ad in the paper for you, it's a special package deal going in several papers. Obviously I need your permission first, if you agree do I use the same number on the missing poster? If you let me know by 4.10 pm today I can ring them, if not I can do it tomorrow. Kind Regards.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I rang the dog warden for Birmingham and they put me in contact with the Sandwell Dog Warden on 0121 569 6625, his name is Morris, but unfortunately he was off sick. They told me that all strays from your area go to Rosedene, I can't get through to Rosedene, but will try tomorrow. I so hope that you get 'Little Jack' back JulieLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

All the above have taken Jack's details but I will send a poster through the post so that they have a picture of him. How are you getting on with the postering? JulieLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Good your OK for posters, try and get loads up, get a friend to help you, Jack may be with someone who dosen't know how to contact his owner as he has no ID, so seeing a poster would help them as well. In answer to your question, yes I have three dogs, but none of them are as handsome as Jack!!!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Jules thank you for your message.I believe that most people do have a concious. But the previous owner did not contact any services. I myself even if Jack did not have a contact details I would have still gone through other services. Thank you again . I can only hope that he is with a LOVING FAMILY WHO JUST WANT TO KEEP HIM. As Jack is so adorable, some people will say that he has been taken in, most people do have a conscience and will report him found. There is no reason that you won't get him back. As for someone giving him a better home than you, who gave him a home when he needed it YOU. Stay positive, I am sure that you will get him back. Take Care Regards JulieLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I would like to thank Jennie dog lost volunteer. Her lovely children for what they did for me the other day. Thank you for all who are looking on this page. I went to the birmingham dogs home today and submitted a poster that Jennie had done for me. Everyone I meet when they look at Jacks photo that someone has taken him in and given him a home. I just wish that person would contact me and if they can give him a better home than I can I would gladly give him over. I contacted the previous owner last night on Jack's old collar and telephone number, Her reaction was that she was not suprised that he had gone missing. Apparently when he left there home he was then living in Walsall and had gone missing for 2 days. My son and his fiance found Jack in the Jewellery Quarter and brought him to me whee I live on the Newton Road Great BarrGod Bless to you all and look after your dogsLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

There is a story to Jack, hes a bit of a wanderer. Just over 6 weeks ago his current owner found him wandering, she made contact with the owner from the tag, who said I dont want him, keep him - he is always escaping. Hes apparently had several owners in his 2 years. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
