far too many dogs have incorrect chip details or no chip or unregistered chip and no collar and id tag - heaven knows why they are easy to get and so cheap - if the dog is loved it makes a world of difference - but if the dog is abandoned then it saves owner being traced

A dog similar to above has been lost and is on the animal search site No: ALP358129. I have sent a message to potential owner.

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
