Try this this too. A door she has access to, open aide, and stand aside (Don`t block her entrance, or she may see it as a "threaT" and run off. (It can happen) Put some tuna,or, chicken in her dish, and place it about twice the open door. If you see her approach, act as though her going hasn`t been an issue, or she may "Do a runner" again. Psws xd..

First of all when House cats go missing they tend to hide close by, and feel very anxious being out of their comfort zone which is in their own homes with people they trust; their owners. Presume you checked ALL outbuildings THOROUGHLY, as some cats will hide in, or behind an object within, especially if timid, and they can also stay extremely quiet and, still even though their owners are present. And cats can survive without food for quite a while. They will lick on objects to keep themselves hydrated. ( Is she neutered? As if not may have gone seeking a mate. And they can stop away for quite a while. . Put some tuna, or chicken in her dish,. and call her; night/early morning is best. Rattle some treats too. Place her UNWASHED blanket into a clean container, along with your scent too. Leave in the garden in a sheltered spot, or hang on the washing line if dry; used towels too. Wipe her scent on your garden fences. gates, doors too; anything leading up to he garden. Try a squeaky toy,as it may attract her attention. Walk around the area, holding an object with her scent on, and rattle some Dreamies. Someone maybe feeding her. (Common problem) A cat that went "Missing" for THREE MONTHS was found by the owners brother only ten minutes from his home A woman had been feeding him fresh chicken every day, so you never know) Have you contacted vets, animal rescue centres, and Cat Protection to see if she has been handed in, as she isn`t microchipped? Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too. Ask around, especially those with children, as they can be observant. Ask friend, and neighbours to share as well as DL. Post a LOST CAT ad in a National newspaper, in case she has climbed into a vehicle. Not uncommon for cats to do. And, I would take another look in outbuildings. A cat on this site had been shut in a house for two weeks, whilst the occupants were on holiday. He had crept in whilst they were putting suitcases into their car, He was very hungry; otherwise okay. Also hand out posters to passers by, where ,and when you can,and as many as you can. When she is found, (Hopefully she will be) I would have Missy microchipped, and neutered too, if not already done so. When searching for her, use the same deodorant/perfume that you use on a day to day basis, as she will recognize the scet., and your the one she trusts. And/.or take with you an Air Freshener, which is used regularly, as it should remind Missy of her own comforts, bearing in mind that a cats sense of smell is about 14 times stronger than humans. With cats it`s all about scent; theirs, and their owners. Paes xd for the safe return of pretty Missy x
