Boo may well return to the place of the RTA has one dog has done this today .Fingers crossed you find him soon .

A dog hit by a car can often do a bit of a sprint fuelled by adrenalin, and then lie up somewhere under cover. Check anywhere with cover e.g. established gardens, hedges, churchyards, parks.

If Boo was hit by a car I think he will be laying quite near.
Bushes ditches fields near should be checked.
This has happened to other dogs hit by cars
