Thank you everyone for your kind thoughts and suggestions. We have already laminated posters, and distributed in Cheddar and surrounding villages. Also emailed posters to friends further afield, and contacted Irish Setter Rescue. Have contacted Heaven's Gate etc., also Ferne Animal Sanctuary. Daughter is a Guide Dog trainer, so the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association is also aware, in all the different areas that it operates . Local vets have been contacted, and there should now be posters in Wells and Weston. No news yet. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

So sorry that Grace & Flo are missing. Please poster like mad print off 100+, poster everywhere so that everyone knows Grace & Flo are missing put posters up in Shops, Pubs, Scrap Yards outside Travellers Camps, Parks and hand out posters to dog walkers as well. To give them better protection against the weather, use punched pockets put the posters in so that the opening is at the bottom (you can also seal the opening with waterproof, clear tape). Speak to the local postmen and visit your local sorting office and ask them to display a poster. Also try to 'collar' the local milkman and ask them to keep a poster of grace & Flo to hand. Pubs are good places to target. Try to visit them early lunchtime or early in the evening when they tend to be less busy and ask the manager to display a poster of Grace & Flo Speak to as many of the regulars/customers as possible as they will have plenty of good contacts and will be a mine of information. Display Grace & Flo?s poster in your car(s) and ask family, friends, neighbours, other regular dog walkers and work colleagues to do the same. Please do contact other owner(s) of missing dogs as you can support each other and poster a wider area. Such as SIAN http://doglost.co.uk/forum.asp?ID=9861.Please make sure you register (click here at the bottom of this page) and post regular updates so that the other Helpers in your area know where & what you have covered. Click on the Useful Links opposite above Dolly?s Directive, lots of info there. Good luck.xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

owner contacted and asked to register on site. RSPCA, local vets, dog wardens notified. Postering in progress. Distisguished looking dogs will stand out so the more people looking the better.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I am so so sorry - what beautiful dogs - what happened? We live very near Cheddar and our Lassie Collie went missing last June, so we can understand what you must be going through. We can lend a laminating machine if it would help with the postering - I could bring it round to you or let me know which area you would like me to poster laminating certainly makes the posters alot more durable and noticeable. Do so hope that these beautiful dogs are back with you very soon. Thinking of you and them. All Best Wishes. Sian's Mum. xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
