Great news. Stay close now Spirit:-) It would seem that Spirit has been dining elsewhere, and in more than one restaurant. I have a feeling. Re: sightings I would put Spirit under "House arrest" now for at least ten days, or he may go awol again. Why people feel the need to feed obviously owned cats defeats me. Grrrr.......

If Spirit has been seen in the area recently, then someone must be feeding him. I would walk around the area he has been seen, taking with you an object with his scent on, (UNWASHED blanket), and rattle some Dreamies. Also wipe his scent on your garden fences, gates, doors too, and anything which leads from where he has been sighted up to the garden. If you can do this about 2/3 times a day, and remember to take his cat carrier with you. And i would leave an object with his scent on, and place it in a clean container, along with your scent too. Leave these in the garden in a sheltered spot, or hang on the washing line too. When walking around the area, you may be able to see where he is dining. Poster all around the area, including where he has been seen
and, post flyers through doors too. And maybe then you may find out who is feeding him; could be more than one person, then ask them kindly not to feed your cat. I would them keep Spirit indoors for a week or two, or he may be off again. This is a very common problem. A cat that had been missing for THREE MONTHS was found by chance by the owners brother, only ten minutes away from his home. A woman had been feeding him fresh chicken every day. Not a good idea to feed other people`s cats as you could be spiriting them away form their loving family, (No pun intended here), And it maybe a child`s pet, or a therapy cat. Hope Spirit is home very soon. Paws xd.
