- Presume all outbuildings were checked at the time he went awol? i would put up posters in, and around the park he was heading towards. (A few years ago, a cat not far from me went missing for SIX YEARS. He was found in the
park by someone who took him to a vet to have him scanned for a microchip, and thus was reunited with his owner, who was flabbergasted, but elated to have her pet back) Walk around, and near ~St Agnes`s park, taking with you an object with is scent on, and rattle some Dreamies. At the same time use the same deodorant, that you use on a day to day basis,as he will recognize the scent, and your the one he trusts. You could also take with you an air freshener, which you use daily, as it should remind him of his home comforts. Hand out posters to the general public, and poster around the area, when, and where you can. , and post flyers through doors too. When searching use a strong torch as the light will reflect a cats eyes. Try this in the said park, but keep safe. Or it could be that someone is feeding Shadow, not too far away from you. A cat that had been missing for THREE MONTHS was found by the owers brother only ten minutes from his home. A woman had been feeding him fresh chicken every day. Keep leaving scented items of Shadow`s in the garden, such as his UNWASHED blanket into a clean container, along with your scent too. Also wipe his scent on your garden fences, gates, doors too; anything leading up to the garden. Hope Shadow is home very soon. Paws xd. - 2018-08-21 08:29 Jayne - Founder Doglost.
