Also contact vets, rescue centres etc, in case she had been handed in. Sometimes a microchip can move. Remember too that cats have a very flexible spine, so they can fit into very small spaces. Hand out leaflets too, as well as posting. Consider posting a LOST CAT ad in a National newspaper, in case Lyra has climbed into a vehicle. Paws xd.

Indoor cats that "Escape" will usually hide close by, and feel very anxious being out of their comfort zone which is in their own homes with people they trust; their owners. A door she has access to, open wide, and stand aside, (Don`t block her entrance, as she may see it as a "Threat" Put some tuna, or warm chicken in her dish, and place it about twice the width of the open door. Rattle some treats too. Place her UNWASHED blanket into a clean container, along with your scent too. Leave about 2 metres from the open door. Check all outbuildings, empty houses, and cellars THOROUGHLY, Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too. If you see her approaching, act as though Lyra going awol hasn`t been an issue, (Don`t try to grab her). Or she may run away. Bear in mind too that it`s the holiday season, and she may have sneaked into a house whilst the occupants were putting luggage into their car, and she is shut in. Check decking too. Paws xd.
