Found tonight female border - in the hands of Swale Borough Council - may be worth checking

Just a suggestion for Donna - I recently heard of a dog who had been picked up from the roadside by some one in a car. It was a longshot but it was suggested that the owner join some Facebook chat groups and sales groups local to her home and share the information via those as opposed to just a general share. It worked - someone knew of a couple who had found a dog without a collar and decided it was a stray and therefore they would offer it a home. Amazingly, they had reported it to the Police but were told that the dog could stay with them instead of being placed in a kennel so long as they had left details and would give the dog up to it's owners should they come forward. The dog was scanned at a local vet but the microchip had moved well down the dog's side and was not detected. Luckily, the dog and it's owners were reunited after three days via someone who had been speaking to a friend of the finder's daughter. Hope you get Piglet home soon xx

Have shared Piglet again in all the Border terrier groups.Do hope someone knows of an adult Border Terrier bitch bought/rehomed recently and they ask if she's been scanned for a chip.

Donna ...someone had picked up piglet and not taken her to vet or somewhere similar so this is theft ..Please go back to police and ask for crime ref number ..we can't change status to stolen with just a log number.

We have been informed that Piglet was picked up by a couple (possibly aged 40-50) and taken away in a small silver 4 door car, on Bridge Street. The male apparently was wearing a flat cap. Unfortunately they don't seem to have taken her anywhere to get her chip scanned yet! Log Number 518-20/7/18.
