Cannot believe she got all the way to Doncaster on her own that's a hell of a lot of miles. Maybe she had help & escaped. That said -thanks to the wonderful people who caught her & pleased to see her home safe. Would ask that you get a tag for her though, she's a lovely looking girl. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

We have no idea how she got as far as Doncaster. She is a working sheepdog, and fit, but still! I don't think we will ever know, and really, we are just so pleased she is safe.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

That's brilliant news. How did she get to Doncaster? Long way from Wheldrake. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Eggy, thanks for the update. It is a brilliant feeling when your dog is reunited with you. Power of the chip and this is the result of how important it is to every dog owner to have their dog chipped. Well done to everyone who has helped in the search for lovely Tui. Give her an extra big hug and cuddle from all on DL. Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Tui is home safe and sound. Thank you to everyone who helped look for her. We can never thank you enough. She was found near Doncaster running down a busy street. A couple purused her - even stopping traffic - until the caught her. They then contacted the Doncaster Dog Warden, and she was quickly returned to us. Words cannot express how grateful we are to you all, but especially Jo-Anne and Richard for not letting Tui run away from them. We will be making a donated to Dog Lost on Jo-Anne and Richard's behalf.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Have e-mailed a few businesses in Wheldrake to keep a look out for her or possible put up a poster. Added the link so they can see. Also contacted the Escrick parish council which is the nearest village to wheldrake see if they can help.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
