- Nikita had only been in her new home for 2 days when she ran off from her owner near to Sackup Lane /Windhill Lane Staincross early yesterday morning
She was later sighted at Wooley Edge motorway services and running along the hard shoulder of the motorway from where the police managed to guide her off.
The last reported sighting was last night at 7pm by Haigh Roundabout.
Many local people went out to search for her last night.
Owners advised to contact relevant authorities for Barnsley and Wakefield, arrange to have microchip contact details changed and to poster all areas surrounding yesterday's sightings .
Hoping Nikita is back home very soon
